Living in Devon I feel more grateful than ever to be able to escape to the wilds of Dartmoor and loose myself walking under vast skies, or venture an hour down the road to the ever changing light and tides of the North Cornish coast. My work both as a photographer and contemporary artist is centred around this.
For the past twenty five years I have worked in the creative industries. The early part of my career was spent in broadcast TV production, where I produced and directed series for the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and HGTV in the US. Then came parenthood and like a homing pigeon I returned to Devon and made a life on beautiful Dartmoor.
I had a dream to raise my family and open a photography studio in the cathedral city of Exeter. Within a few years I found myself busier than I could have imagined. The studio went from strength to strength and my work was widely published, both as an award winning wedding and commercial photographer. For this I am ever grateful.
To relax between commercial photography commissions I returned to my love of painting. Now I spend my days happily creating collections in the studio that marry my love of painting with large format photographic prints.
Works are held internationally in both corporate and private collections and I hope to create something to adorn the walls of your home soon.
