Similar to the thinking behind my photographic works, my paintings are an expressive response to the natural world around me.

I am particularly interested in the movement of water and the elemental relationship between the ocean and the vast sky above. My paintings have evolved from observations of natural forms and my love of being by the sea.

They are captured moments adventuring along the Devon and Cornwall coast, but often evoke your own memories of time well spent at the beach.
